Chamomile tea is known for reducing anxiety and helping people fall sleep. It’s also used to calm an upset stomach and other digestive issues. A great herbal alternative to black tea or coffee in the evening.
Use 1 teaspoon of flowers for every 200ml of water (and one for the pot). Steep for 5 minutes, or a little longer for a stronger flavour. Best served without milk. Sweeten with a little honey, if desired. Chill and serve as a have a refreshing iced tea.
Chamomile is lovely in tea blends with lemon, mint or cinnamon.
