Organic Unstabilized Rolled Oats


A whole grain, oats are rich in fibre, B vitamins, and the minerals phosphorus, magnesium, and zinc. Oats also contain a heart-protective starch called beta-glucan that can help lower high cholesterol and potentially help reduce the risk of certain cancers. 

Unstabilised oats takes longer to cook than pre-steamed rolled oats, approx. 20mins. They can be soaked overnight in water with 1-2tbsp of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to shorten the cooking time to about 10mins.

Drain & add to an equal amount of fresh water. Bring to the boil, turn down to simmer & stir often until it’s ready.
