Pitted Prunes


Prunes are great source of vitamin A, potassium, boron, and iron. They are often used as a natural remedy to constipation due to their fibre and natural sorbitol content.

Prunes make a lovely base for sauces and stuffing, can be added to smoothie bowls or into baked goods.

Soak in hot water for a few minutes, or lightly stew for compote. Serve stewed prunes for breakfast with your favourite cereal and yoghurt. For a dessert treat, try it with ice cream!
