Our own vegan "mac & cheese" recipe-in-a-jar is a deliciously rich, convenient addition to the pantry. Perfect for a quick, yet nourishing, lunch or dinner.
625ml Boiling Water
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Cracked Pepper (optional)
1. Pour the contents of the jar into a medium saucepan, along with 625ml boiling water and 2Tbsp olive oil.
2. Bring to the boil whilst whisking to dissolve the coconut milk powder.
3. Reduce to a medium simmer, continue to cook, stirring often, for 10 to 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and the pasta is cooked.
4. Take off the heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Season with cracked pepper.
Try making a baked pasta dish by adding the cooked mixture into a greased baking dish and topping with our Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs for a lush topping - bake for 10 mins until golden!
