Yellow Mustard Seeds have a wonderful spicy flavour and aroma; they are milder than the brown variety.
These dried seeds can be used in bottled vegetables, chutneys, pickles and sauces.
To make fresh mustard paste to use as a delicious condiment combine 1⁄2 cup whole or ground seeds with 1⁄2 cup water, 3 to 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Let stand for 20 minutes, before mixing with your choice of honey, turmeric and dried spices of choice.
